@Saiaton According to the March 28th, 1953 issue of Billboard (courtesy of Google Books), it's Freddie Morgan (the guy with the huge grin on his face sitting to the right of Spike in the photo).
Never heard this before--but as kids we used to sing, "Lulu had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell. Lulu went to heaven, the steamboat went to Hello operator, give me number nine. If you disconnect me, I'll kick you in the Behind the Iron Curtain, there was a piece of glass. Lulu slipped and fell on it and broke her little Ask me no more questions, I'll tell you no more lies. Lulu told me all of this just before she died." Welcome to 1964, gang.

I think the vocals are Sir Fredrick Gas, he did a lot of accents in the group. It sounds very like the voice in Yes, We Have No Bananas

My Dad had this record in 1959(?), i played it so much the grooves wore out!
I write silly songs myself, & this group must have had something to do with it!LOL...

Is this Spike singing? Or had he 'borrowed' a London comedian? It's a better Cockney accent that Dick van Dyke's!
