I tend to disagree. I am also a fan of Maya Beiser and I think her immense versatile talent can find many possible permutations - LedZep is one of them - it is not pandering since this is unlike any "Kashmir" I have heard and does good service to the led zeppelin's repertoire. In fact I read in an Irish newspaper that Jimmy Page himself was quoted saying he loves and listens to this version.  So it is another layer on his genius. Had she been less gifted or successful, perhaps...

I am a fan of Maya Beiser and Led Zeppelin, to an extent, but come on. She makes beautiful music. I don't think I stand alone in my distaste for artists pandering to the needs of people who like pop music. She does great stuff! There is no reason she should spend all this time and money making this fancy video for a cover of some 40 year old pop tune.
