At an anti-immigration Tea Party Rally on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul, social worker Bill Ronan claims that the Violence Against Women Act while well intentioned, is nothing more than a tool to get green cards.

  • I could negatively comment vote but won't, and come back and do it repeatedly. How silly is that. Comment votes are meaningless and should be turned off.

  • Done.

  • Im a domestic violence victim, I am a japanese full time student until american citizen mexican asked me for a marriage, he is lazy, even if i dont know this country i worked for us, i asked him to work, but he just stay inside the room looking at girls on bikini, and he hit me, throw me on the chair, on the floor, struggled me on the park. I didnt told anyone to protect him, and now you said this is just about a loop hole?

  • @mumbles005 Haha : Good for you :D

  • i am a victim of the loop hole.. my wife came here from el salvador we had twins got married. lived together for 2yrs we tried to get her legal it was very hard. the alternative was for her to file for an i360 self petition. she called the 911 serveral times i never was arrested . now she is working legaly and has my kids taken away from me.. these laws need to change USCIS dosen't have to investigate.

they will accept any form of evidence w/o investigation.

  • In all fairness, VAWA stipulates that any foreign bride can get an instant green card if they claim abuse from their husbands. No need for evidence. The gov contracts private companies that have an incentive to push all cases.

  • This is exactly why I no longer support the institution of marriage. I am preparing for my exodus from this rat infested sinking ship that was once a great Nation. I am glad that I have 'technical skills/trade skills' to secure employment where ever I may go.

  • @1Tremley

Illegal aliens have the following rights to get

    -exploited

    -harassed

    -beaten

    -murdered

    -forgotten about

If they have a problem - they can GTFO

  • FYI I'm one of"these people" here as long as @idonthateamerica is fair minded. A permit was paid. Pro-invasion "Bob" is killing his own people by promoting 15 million (average estimate) uneducated criminal vampires chain migrating with anchor babies stealing jobs, healthcare, social security, education, commiting crimes, not assimilating or learning English. Mexican drug cartels are #1 organized crime in every state. Cap guy said that illegal spouses claim domestic abuse to delay deportation.

  • 1) We all have by constitutional law the right of freedom of assembly (as long as we pay for a permit to do so) and 2) Robert Erickson was not promoting violence and hatred against this country. He was trying to point out the complete lack of knowledge these people seem to have when it come to immigration.
