Without religion, we'd have good people doing good things, and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Without religion we'd be in a worst state. Good people do bad things because of the lack of light in their life. Good can't be evil at the same time, that is just one big fat contradiction.
