@ght52 I dont think you understand boxing fully its not just too average joes walking in and swinging wildly trying too knock each other out it really is a science and im just talking about defense theres a whole science on offense alone. Sugar Ray Robinson literally used geometrey to fight and you also have to be extremely condishened not like MMA fighters kimbo was some 36 year old bum from the streets with authritis in his knees which is probly the reason why he never made it big in the UFC.

@BigBadMarketer That's right. and not only is the level of competition higher, but also the amount quality fighters. The quality of standup that MMA fighters possess is nil. As I posted earlier, there are quality amateur Boxers that would destroy Kimbo in standup. When one dimensional Nick Diaz shot his mouth off about challenging Floyd Mayweather in the ring, Dana White was quick to intervene. The last thing Dana white wants is his fighters standup "skills" being exposed.

The level of competition in boxing is much higher than in MMA. Looking at kimbo's 3rd boxing fight, my grandmother could have almost hopped in there by the 3rd round and kick his arse, he had barely enough energy to stand on his feet

@ght52 And a prime former UFC Champ Tim Sylvia got KO'd in 15 seconds by 52 yr old Heavyweight Boxer Ray Mercer. Bottom line, Kimbo Slice is boxing in the Midwest circuit vs guys with ZERO Boxing experience. There are established Amateur boxers that would destroy Kimbo Slice in a Boxing ring.
