Take a look inside GM's new EN-V concept car as Chris Borroni-Bird explains how this zero-emission, electric vehicle could serve as the automobile solution of the future. One major societal trend that GM is addressing with the EN-V is urbanization. Borroni-Bird touches on the six key issues facing the mobility of people living in big cities (Energy, Environment, Safety, Congestion, Parking and Affordability) and how the two-wheeled EN-V addresses each issue.

Today's vehicles are nice but they're not actually doing the job efficiently which is travelling from one place to another. These would be hugely beneficial in many areas of society where people need to travel. Also auto-pilot would replace the need for a driver in the car.

We only need to see examples like i-Robot the Will Smith Movie to see how vehicles could advance in the future.

With advances in technology in the US sensors will help stop the vehicle before coming into contact with it. Obviously this could be implemented into this vehicle as well at higher speeds in the city.

This should replace all the cars so that people in small towns get to where they need to work and shopping etc. Save cars for long distances and speed tracks etc. Place a ban on cars in the city centre and only allow cars for long distances. Make taxis and mopeds out of these vehicle types also.

Come out with a production car already. Damn your problem is that you all make too many stupid concepts that never come out.
