The purpose of this video is to show how fans have slowly diminished in overall build quality starting around the 1950's. This may be a little unfair, since the Westinghouse Power Aire's blades are so steeply pitched, but I just thought this could be a fun experiment.

The 1964 GE is still a great fan; It runs flawlessly and I use it a lot, but in terms of construction compared to a fan 30 years before it, it's quite inexpensive.
