  • you could lunch the cartridge just cueing it up.

  • the "wrap" is so huge that regular cue is not high enough to bring the cartridge to place. so in this case it had to be done manually (put in place and lift)

  • Credit goes to the ATN440MLa - it is due to the long cantilever. Why would you want to intentionally set up this test?

    That cartridge is amazing, a little bright, but handles the inner grooves like a champ. highly recommended...

  • Love the Thorens, try it with the Denon DL-110 cartridge.

  • ladies and gentlemen, please make note of the object stuffed between the record and the plate. you may also want to observe the video info, where it is explained that this has been done to demonstrate the tracking power of the Thorens tonearm.

    tl;dr - the record is not bent
