Use colibris, and you become the chipmunk assassin.

i just bought one of these what ammo do they prefer ??

It will take any bipod that is designed to fit a Picatinny rail. I couldn't tell you where to find one for less than $150, but they do make them. I had a G22, and I wish that they had included the rail AND put the sling swivel UNDER the stock, instead of beside it.

Technically, it's not IMOSSIBLE to fire a .22 Rimfire by hitting it with a hammer, just very, very unlikely. Technically, you can set one off by dropping it too, but the odds are so small that they don't even have laws regarding it.

@jagger your gay dumb ass

Ok as anyone following your stupid ass comments can now tell you are the uneducated trailer trash here. It is impossible i repeat impossible to fire a bullet by hitting it with a hammer. Second my gun collection is right now sitting at 7 shotguns 6 rifles and 11 handguns which i can bet is alot more than the 2 bb guns sitting in your closet. So do youtube a favor and stay off of it and refrain from spilling your inbred prehistoric comments all over the place.

and the point of your comment is what??? you had nothing to do with anything and ammo is plenty obtainable if you know where to look it will just cost you and hitting a bullet with a hammer will not cause it to fire dumb fuck

so you go against the advice of the guy selling you the gun and need to ask what to do to make it not jam. use the ammo you were told to you fool
hey man. my g22 is like jamming every now and then but my rger 10/22 was jamming when i first got it also. i think i just have to oil it and clean it out and then it will work good. if you can help just answer. aight?

might be ammo too. high-velocity ammo jams the rifle cuz it slams the bolt back too hard. My rifle runs fine with sub-sonic Remington ammo.

You don't oil the G22. Even Walther tells you to use a light coat of Teflon spray. This is what I do with mine, and many thousands of rounds later, runs fine.
Of course I also had to remove the mag safety catch, as well as the last-round holdopen. With these devices in place, the gun often refused to feed the first round. Apparently they didn't exist in the German version of the rifle.
Slightly polishing the feed ramp also helps a LOT. Before doing this, it was very picky about ammo.

Ha! you removed that shit too? I did that within a week of purchase...fixed most of the problems, too.

whats the effective range on this gun?
bloodsurfer2 4 years ago
100 yds, about. The .22LR drops rather badly beyond that.
But if you know your rifle, you can compensate etc.
