Recent MBTA fare and parking hikes and Mass highway toll increases are putting the squeeze on Suffolk's large commuter student population. With the cost of gas rising again, some commuter students expressed concerns that the cost of traveling into Boston for school may soon become more than they can bear. The Voice's Allison Emde spoke with several commuter students, as well as Peter Gemmellaro of the Off Campus Housing Office, about the issue as part of a special Suffolk Reports feature.
