Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Mar 18 08 B

I'm getting back on track...It looks as though each time I go on these playing sessions, I need a few match to warn up first before I get in gear. I perform much better in these next three matches, and I get to trash some Ike in two of them while I'm at it.

Marth again? Anyway, it seems pretty clear that some of the other guys I played on this stage aren't really too sure on how it works. Whenever you see a replay of a match in Mario Bros., whether it's here on YouTube, downloaded Replays into the game, or over Spectator Mode, it becomes pretty clear on who chose the stage, since you can bet that there's only going to be one person scoring KOs by tossing those Shellcrawlers and Sidesteppers around. Everyone else will be ramming their heads against the ceilings and giving themselves headaches.

Anybody miss this stage? Ike's fall at the end prevented another four-way Sudden Death from happening. Another thing that stands out for me is that this is probably the fastest time I ever picked up the three Dragoon parts...though if you keep watching, you can see at work the notion of "easy come, easy go."

Rumble Falls
Am I the only one who liked Icicle Mountain in Melee? I could always keep up with the scrolling, and Rumble Falls is not any more difficult. More dynamic, definitely, but not more difficult. Another thing to observe is that the guy playing Ike, having suffered two last places in a row, has apparently switched to Olimar. I also had quite the time trying to figure out what's going on under Samus's Final Smash...and the Nintendog labrador up against the screen. I guess she wasn't able to keep up and got blown away before she could use that Smash Ball.

Yeah, you sidestep at the exact time. That's why I delay my usage of these Final Smashes for a moment.
