  • @denqua The tunes are, firstly, 'The Black Almain' an English dance (actually an English imitation of a German dance style) from the 1550s followed by 'Quen A Omagen Da Virgen' an anonymous tune from 13th Century Spain .. .. and then back to the Black Almain again.

    Glad you enjoyed them.

  • What are the tunes called you played please, they are great!!

  • I see I'm not the only one that gets people standing in front of me when I'm videoing a band!

  • I often got to colchester as a medieval storyteller and musician, its very fun, if you thought about getting into medieval living history i really would the people you meet and interact with are a joy. top stuff for a hobby :) remember, its not all about fighting :p music, laughter, nice food also play into the mix..i say 'nice' food..lol

  • Did you know that there is a huge group, I think is national that have big gatherings a couple times a year where you get dressed up and camp for a weekend in medieval life. If you want more details I can share.

  • Oh, I am envious! This looks like so much fun! Sounds great!

  • if i'm right the one in green is Pol malfait

  • Fun!

  • Nice one! Wish I could have been there... Has the symphonie got a name yet? And was that Sally I could hear joining in? Miss you guys!
