TWM Metrobus 2744 worn planet gear 16th October 2009 pt 1

Went down to Walsall on 16th October and just by chance dropped really lucky with my first bus - 2744, a bus which I've always liked, running on a 340, When he left the bus station in Walsall couldn't believe what I was hearing! Some magnificent worn planet gear sound effects which I enjoyed immensely. File split into 2 parts

Having said that, however it might spell the end for this bus as only 12 are left at Walsall so will they let it run like this till in conks or will they bother repairing it?. A shame, this bus has been allocated to Walsall its entire working life so would be unfortunate if something like this sees it off. Mind you, 3102 was sounding like this, so they fixed it then withdrew it two weeks later so you never know! Get it while you can folks anyway - the 340/341 to Willenhall and 395 to Burntwood appear to be the only Walsall routes with metrobuses on now (although 2887 was in service on the 366 all day which I didn't expect but, horror of horrors, NONE on the 951 wargh!!!)
