This car does have some cool technology. But I can't figure out why it has a HUD. I have HUD on my M5 so I don't crash when doing my 4 second 0-60 runs in traffic.

Just bought one of these. The options on this car make the price grow quickly. If you order up only the normal creature comforts on this one and avoid the new geegaw gadgets the price is around 41K. I walked out the door with mine for 34,500.

This car isn't selling well for Lexus at all, which isn't no surprise..it is well below lexus standard, and looks like a Corolla, which isn't good for Lexus.
However, since it isn't selling well, you may be able to snag a used one for a good price.

The car's a massive fail for Toyota; way too expensive, noisy IC engine, dull and lifeless to drive and looks like a tarted up Corolla. No wonder they're nailed to the showroom floor. Lexus's marketing savants show they can't find their ass with their hands on this one.
Give me a Jetta TDi Sportwagon anyday for a lot less money and a lot more enjoyable driving experience.
