@Aramat1981 i work for a cleaning service this is part of the job getting the floors nice and clean and if they paid 300 chances are it was a deep clean which means they should of scrubbed the floors there is no excuse for them not cleaning the floors you could get that all up with a mop!

Merry Maids DO NOT use scrub pads on a dirty floor like that, and if they did your complaint would be that they scratched ur floors

I'm sure it was a franchise and not a corporate location. A corporate location would never leave a floor looking like that.

I tell you if you want something done right do it yourself! I'm pretty sure they treat those maids like crap back at headquaters. They start out great after a couple of months w/ lowered self-esteem not so good performance. I once worked in BK they treat maintenance like crap everywhere, so i would know. Have mercy on the maids NOT on the company!

I agree, Kelly. I worked for MM in Mass. for almost a year, and my boss complained that I was trying to be "too thorough". WTF???

I work for Merry Maids in Canada, and my office would NEVER leave a floor like that ever. I think it's really rude to make a generalization based on ONE experience, and offence to all those who work for them and DO make sure to do an excellent job. Personally though, we are residential cleaners. A floor THAT dirty, needs a professional moving clean company. Thats filth.
The last 2 comments slay me, and indicate Merry Maids philosophy. The floor was too dirty? What do you think they hire "professional" house cleaners for? I can see not touching areas with roaches, maggots, blood, etc. but DIRT. It's my house, and I want it clean! I think we've found a major reason Merry Maids has become a joke.

I worked for Merry Maids for 6 months. One week in particular, I worked M-F, was done after 6p.m. on 2 days and had to pick up jobs that other teams didn't get to. I also had to drive a girl to and from work when her car died. My take home pay that week? $207. Better off hiring an independent. The owners don't care-although MY boss drives a Lexus. Go figure.
