Sterling by Music Man JP50 guitar with Dimarzio Crunch Lab and Liqui Fire Pickups. Line 6 Flextone III 1x12 combo. Abunai2 Overdrive by Tonefreak. This is my living room rig.

Just a quick video to show what the JP50 looks and sounds like. It's a comfortable guitar that plays well, stays in tune.

The camera was on top of the amp, the camera's mic was pointed at me so it was picking up a combination of the amp's speakers and you can hear my pick hitting the strings.

Thanks for watching.

  • i want to put the crunch lab and liquifire in my jp50. do i need the f spaced pickups or the normal ones?

  • @PeterOevergaard F spaced for bridge and regular space for neck

  • hi @patpark is a good idea to change thos humbkers of the sterling jp50 and replace them with the dimarzio's crunch lab and liquifire? i saw you use them so i am searching for an honest opinion...thanks

  • @kamilowaso the Dimarzios are great pickups and I really like them. The stock pickups are good, but the Dimarzio's really improved everything.

  • Dude

your doing the same thing may of us do-- so dont fret about it ---but you play the same lead pattern over and over again.

Now that Im getting older I do it more and more--I guess because I cant remember any of the other leads I know...hahaha

anyway..I just like to point it out when I hear it so we're all aware of it.

  • @Rizzy55 thanks man! it's all good. I only know like 3 or 4 licks. Just move em around in different keys positions etc.

  • I just picked one up for 250 at guitar center new. It was dropped and chipped the paint. I ran through it and looked it over, played the hell outta it to make sure it was solid...and it was. i even got the ADH warranty to cover it as new...because it is, just dropped. I'm impressed with it.

Screw the haters, your demo on here was great. You have great speed and articulation. what exercises do you do to build up the speed?

  • @Rizzy55 that is why i hate posting my talent on youtube because there are a lot of immature musician such as you here on youtube who knows nothing but to find faults on talent of others. the video is all about the guitar and not showcasing a talent. for me he plays alright. if you are looking for some great playing go search for guitar virtuoso such as steve vai and petrucci

  • sick playing

  • hey man, How hard is it switch between tunings on this guitar?

  • Made in Indonezia? Korea?

  • @patpark thanks

  • @Doginater the neck is what sold me on this guitar. with an 800 dollar guitar budget, i came out of guitar center after 5 hours with the 350 dollar sterling by music man jp50 in sbk and a holy grail. and got to save some dough and got a sick ass guitar. i like it as much as my c1 hellraiser

  • Ah, nice. Great little improvs, got a good sense of the guitar. Great stuff!
