What do you think about the new Facebook Places feature that has recently been added to facebook. If you are a FourSquare user you will probably find it just an additional tool that you can use to monitor your friends activity. If you are not a FourSqaure user like myself you may find that you want to adjust your privacy settings to what you feel is appropriate for you and your family.
Let me know what you think of this new facebook feature in the comments box below.
Cheers

  • Thanks Steve yes I think people need to be made clearly aware of exactly what this Facebook Places can do and what people can share and see about your personally so that they can make an informed decision. I think it should automatically be set to off and let people turn it on rather than set to on and the 'unknowing' left to figure it out through word of mouth.

  • Pam, thank you for the tips on editing these two items. As a dad with two teenage daughters and a teenage son it is very important. I want to know where my kids are but not the rest of the world. Children and woman should be as careful, more careful today. This is becoming a very scary world and I don't think anyone can be to careful. I will be sure and pass this great information along.
