So, the banks gave high risk loans to people who couldn't pay the bill, the banks cryed to Obama, and he gave the banks 800B in tax dollars, now he is punishing the banks for taking the money that the banks asked for. What is the Government going to do with the tax dollars once they get the money back, give it back to the tax payer....probably not.

People don't get it. The bank bailout was necessary or there would've have been a run on the banks. Which in the end made our economy much worse. Yes we hated it but people really need to study and, realize who runs our country and the world. Wall Street and the banks. They have more power and influence than our own Government. For the most part I did not care because I have not had a credit card or bank account since 1995 and I do very well.

nationalize the banks and then sell them off .... that is how u fix it. failure is exactly that u do not reward an idiot who has run themselves out of business.
