Alright, I'll look into that. But I'm only 14, and only have a grand to put into it. A v8 is not gonna be so fun to pay for gas.

@Jake614DMR I would go dynomax swap out your cat and it should sound really good.

It's a 4.7 but do you think the hooker exhaust system would be nice for that?

@Jake614DMR If you have the 5.2 it sounds good with it. I put the magna on instead of the flowmaster because the magna is deeper where the flow has a crackle and higher pitch to it. Right now im running just the cat dumped at the end of my cab and it sounds really good but im going to be doing true duals soon

did you buy the magnaflow system kit? Im going with a maganflow exhaust and i cant decide on a muffler size...they come in 5x8x14 18 or 24". I got a ram not dakota but same year and motor...im just looking for a sound to work off of because i know the shorter muffler you have the louder it is!

@gunnabefamous69 No I got mine off ebay for the fraction of the price of a magnaflow kit actually I paid 245 shipped for a whole cat back system with 3 in chrome tips. It didnt come with stainless steel tubing(like magnaflow) but I dont care. I live in the mtns of pa ran the system for 4 years and the tubing still looked almost new. I have the 5x814 muffler and it sounds good it will get louder as time goes on.

sounds ok but i think it could be louder my 98 dakota is alot louder

@MrHemihenry It was still a new system when this vid was made. After it burned out a little it got louder. I no longer have a exhuast after my cat so its way louder/better sounding

@400exrider92 thats awesome i just got shortys put on mine so its got alot louder its amazing sounding you should look into a good set of headers

@MrHemihenry Yeah I would but I said I was done modding it. This fall im getting rid of it for a cummins need something with a better tow rating.
