@gameluv13 Thanks ;-) I understand, you can stop the video when needed but you can't make it faster ;-) Then I prefer to make shorter videos, it is less boring for people who just want to see how it works and who don't follow the tutorial.

Thumbs up if you kissed the screen.

@theyummyfactory Same but I think its because of the size of the brushes.
For example it is said to use 400size brush, I'm using smaller x) so I try to ajust.

Are you using mouse on that? It is really hard to draw using mouse >,< My lips still looks awful even I am following your tutorial but I am still practicing to make it perfect. I really like your channel and will subscribe for future tutorials. I am new to digital painting and your channel is a big help. Its just really hard to do it with mouse XD

@theyummyfactory not sure if you've already figured this out by this point but the amount of Gaussian blur really depends on how big [in terms of pixels] your mouth is. The smaller the drawing you have is, the less Gaussian blur you'll need. And vice versa

Well.. I got the basic concept when I did this.. But it doesnt look anything as good as yours. Though, it was also my first try at digital art. Haha. Your amazing and Thank You for posting this so I could try. I learned alot. :)

I have a question. You say like 19 seconds in to go on layer five and click this checkered box thing. I have photoshop cs5 so i dont know if i just dont have it or not haha but if you could tell me where and what it is that would be great!
Finchday 3 weeks ago
@Finchday I used CS2 for this one ;-) OK, you have to lock the layer (you can find the icon on the top of layer panel) If you don't find it, you can go on my "photoshop basics" on my website, there is screenshot.

Does this work in all versions of Photoshop?
I'm using CS5 and did exactly what you said (+ using a graphics tablet) and the gaussian blurs are waaaay too much and ruining the whole thing.
The same happens with your eye tutorial.
I'm trying to do these for about 4 days now, and I still haven't figured out what should I do differently. =(
