Pouch Filler in Production

First run of the pouch filler at Peaceful Bend. Based on a standard bottle filler, this gravity feed filler relies on a PLC to time each operation. First is pull a partial vacuum on the bag, then a short burst of nitrogen purges and air from the bag and equalizes the pressure. The filling is also performed via time, the constant level in the filler tank provides a consistent flow of wine. And then a final shot of nitrogen to provide headspace for expansion.
