I've worked on one of these for about two years (not anymore). It's a great tool, very intuitive and easy to use after you've learned it. Its only problem is that it's not rugged enough for news broadcast. The faders used to go bad after a few months. Great learning tool, too. I've learned how to correctly use a compressor using the R100.

order from sony professional or find a secondhand one which'd be very rare i expect and you'd prolly only find one via a pro dealer like vintage-king in the usa (or at least he might know where to find a used model).
