greatest part of my statement was i'm a windows fanboy :D. I like macs cause they our stable as a rock. But i love windows cause I can do what ever I want... even break the os!

Apple isn't interested in making cheap, crappy hardware. Just like Samsung doesn't want to make 40" LCDs that cost the same as Insignia or some other cheap brand.

The only PCs that are cheaper and poorly made with poorer hardware. There's plenty of PCs that cost *more*. All of them have their markets.

And the whole idea of being "more affordable" is laughable these days, in my opinion. Inflation usually means things go up in price. But computers are way cheaper than they were just 5 years ago.

Apple is selling 5+ million iPhones per *quarter* now.

They sold about 14M in 2008
