  • I remember getting shoes there as a kid and getting the golden egg

  • @HistoryTours Yeah, we talked about that in stickam tonight...those were red goose shoes.

  • I don't know but I just caught my kid and his friend taking naughty pictures on the web cam. Oh deeeeeer. And your comment about pervs taking pictures of Katie? Oh I've got a rough patch ahead don't I?

  • @nalts You sure do, buddy! Best of luck with all that!

  • @sharinggon456 WOW, you got that all wrong! I was calling them out for NOT being "friends"! Watch again!!

  • Does your shoe have a boy inside? What a funny place for a boy to hide! Does your shoe have a dog there too? A boy and a dog and a foot in a shoe. Well, the boy is Buster Brown. And the dog is Tige, his friend. And they're really just a picture but it's fun to play pretend. So look look look in the telephone book for the store that sells the shoe, with the picture of the boy and the dog inside so you can put your foot in too. Buster Brown Shoes!

  • ha ha, that's like mixing up the toothpaste with the preparation H, lol. Thanks Zippy.

  • wait what? =O

  • "Wherever you go, trust Texaco!" Is what my dad used to burst into song with...

  • You forgot the part "I love to eat 'em every day and if you ask me, "WHY?" I'll say...."

  • Ok...now I feel old and outdated. I went and watched one of the commercials for Buster Brown and I actually remember them. If the remembering the commercial didn't make me feel old, realizing that I had forgotten them did. You know what they say...your mind is the first thing to go!!!

  • Hmmm...maybe the dog had a foot fetish. Who knew foot fetishes went back that far...lol.

  • I remember, I blurted out, "Good!"

My Dad gave me a funny look and said, "I thought you loved that dog". Yea, right, dad! I'm gonna love some neurotic, mutated, sickly, sewer rat that chases me and tries to gnaw off my toes as a baby! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving dog! I hope he suffered!

  • Sheesh! Haven't seen that funny looking, little brat and his mutt since I was itty-bitty! He always freaked me out! His stupid dog reminded me of my grandma's little tiny chi hua hua, "Benji". I HATED THAT PSYCHOTIC MUTT! He'd chase me around and try to bite my toes, and all the adults thought it was funny, so all they did was laugh. I remember, that when I was about 13 or so, my dad had said that his mom's little dog had died. He'd gotten a phone call from one of his brothers. Yea!!!!!!

  • I have vague memories of the Buster Brown song, but I don't remember him growing up and wearing a Texaco star. Maybe the dog bought some Texaco stock and got him a job?

  • hm.....where did you go wrong? you asked the wrong one here. I am still asking that to myself about way to many things. so far, i have decided i always turned the wrong direction, no matter what. haha. thanks for the smiles.... love commerical jingles from the past.
