Hello you tubers,
This is just a screen test for my new video project. just seeing if i could replace the back round with out a green screen !! and I Did. 1. exposure up all the way, and i used all natural light 2. put in after effects and downloaded a stil image of some clouds. 3. animated the still image to a moving image. 3 added the lightning with advanced lighting in AE. and added the cloud lightning glow with a basic lens flair. and lots of key frames !! Im going to be adding to this. so stay tuned. its part of the power up video project i am working on.

  • how can i use a video instead of a picture?

  • @selethice Honestly Thats a Good Question,. U can maybe try with actually adding the vid Instead of picture, but ull have to key frame alot if the colors change so adjust the keying. Good Question. I would go to andrew cramers forum. Or creativecow i forgot which one it is, but see if u can find something on one of the forums. Or maybe Yahoo Question it. Good Luck, When u figure it out let me know. this was my frist try and havent done itSence

  • pretty solid key for not using a greenscreen! Nice job!

If I can suggest something it would be flashes on the clouds where the lightning comes out. Try making this with a bright blue solid that is masked out with a large feather value. Then animate the opacity. If you make some intricate shapes with the mask it really looks cool!

  • Hey thanks for watching. and thanks for the sugestion !

im gonna give that a try !! thank you very much.

  • yES SIR NO GREEN SCREEN ! i just used the white wall behind me and made sure there wasnt much of a shadow on the wall.
