IMAGE OF A SOLDIER - PROJECT

The video is only 6 minutes long, it only looks like it's 11 minutes because of an editing error.

This was my final project for my documentary class. Let me say a few things
1. I spent a lot of thought on this project, but not nearly enough time
2. I could have worked with my interviewees better, but I'm not good with people. The collection of interviews was awful. I should have found people who didn't like soldiers as much as others
3. I'd love to give a middle finger to my college's media department because they gave me little to no help with this project.
4. My teacher hated this on a very personal level. Though I ended up getting a B in the course, which is only fair (probably more than I deserve).
5. Criticism is fine.
Now about the film itself (please look upon these notes after you have seen the film once)
-If the opening scene appears weird or funny to you, then my experiment is successful. The music was not supposed to fit with the visuals (the original scene had no music). I added the music with the intention of causing some sort of dissonance.
-The music in question is a track called "Escape" by Craig Armstrong, it is from the film "Plunckett and Mccleane. .
-Originally I had an interview with a Civil War Historian, I did not include it because I felt it distracted from the timeless (yet modern) feel of the project.
-I did plan out this project rather than just putting clips together. But my initial project idea was more structured.
