girl i had a female dentist n she was bitch.i got put to sleep 4mine n tell me y i kept waking up in the middle of the procedure?! turns out they didnt give me enough meds at the right time and i woke hollerin every 10 minutes.my mom said her n half the waiting room was cryin bc that was the most terrifying sound they ever heard.they ended up givin me more sleep meds too late so i was just dead weight when they were done.i had 2b wheeled out the back door so i wouldnt scare da other patients

OMG that sounds horrible! i'm so sorry that you don't have insurance. but every time i hear these horrible i-went-to-the-doctors-stories, i feel like i'm listening to a person living in a third world country. i don't mean to offend anyone, but how can anyone still call the USA no 1? that health system is ghetto!

@Callisino you are correct, but in California thats how it is. Being that I am over 21, with no children, no disabilities, Im not homeless, dont have a crminal record, and Im a student, Im classified as an "Indigent Adult" meaning that Im not a priority for the medicare. Basically because Im somewhat of a "normal" person they feel I should be able to get it on my own, which isnt the case for many young ppl esp students

My mother said the pain from a tooth is worse than giving birth lol...(she gave birth with out meds btw)

I HAAATTE my dentist. Whever I go to get my regular cleaning, I swear to God, the lady that flosses me pushes so hard on my gums and it's so unbearably horrid. Oh, and then she almost took my tooth out while flossing, but the actual dentist (It's a guy) is incredibly nice and gentle with my teeth. I despise the dental assistances

oh my. i'm sorry u had 2 go thru that. i recently been 2 the dentist 2 but it was 4 a root conal & fill in. i 2 had a bad experience. the shots 2 num the pain was soo painful because my gums was already swollen. after she did the root conal & temp fill in, my face swelled up & i had to take meds 4 that. i was a cry baby 2. but the last visit was pretty cool & pain free. i'm just so happy that it's all over with. i suppose 2 get other minor stuff done but i wont be going back 4 a lil while. lol
