S.F.C. Boot Camp Vision & Purpose
"You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare
entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."
2 Tim. 2:3-4
There has never before been a greater need for this generation to know the call of God upon their lives.
There has never before been a more desperate time to challenge young people to stand for what is right.
There has never before been a more noble cause than the fight to preserve the Truth and the Freedom that
ensures it.
S.F.C. is uniquely designed as an outreach to challenge teens from every walk of life. S.F.C. is designed
for committed individuals looking to sharpen their spiritual lives as well as those who are troubled,
undisciplined, or perhaps just lacking direction for their lives.
The vision behind Soldiers For Christ Boot Camp is very plain and overt. Our desire is that all young
people would know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and have a deep and committed
relationship with Him, S.F.C. has proven to be an effective tool in changing young peoples lives for Christ.
In the type of society we live as well as the various pressures and moral challenges that face our youth
today, it is clear that many young people lack the understanding and appreciation of "Righteousness" or
Right Living. Things like character, faithfulness, patience and discipline are all but forgotten values, yet
these are the very qualities that God desires for all of us. S.F.C. Boot Camp is our way of challenging
young people to challenge their selves to "Be all that God wants you to be!"
S.F.C. Boot Camp is an intense 2 week youth program, designed to simulate the rigors and training of
military life and challenge young people toward Spiritual, Mental, Social and Physical growth.
S.F.C. is designed with 4 fold purposes or "phases".

st
Phase:
"The Breakdown"
The breakdown process is designed to destroy the "I" or individual self-will and teach the meaning of
obedience, discipline and perseverance. Our adopted mottos here are "There is no 'I' in team" and
"The 'I' must die so the team may survive."

nd
Phase:
"The Rebuilding"
This process is the gradual rebuilding of the "new man or woman" not as individuals but now as members
of a team, an intricate part of a living organism. This is when we put into practice and reinforce the real
meaning of "Teamwork" and the importance in thinking of others, sacrifice for others and serving others
before ourselves.

Phase:
"The Equipping"
In this phase we begin to utilize all the practical things learned in S.F.C. and tie them all together
scripturally to equip and train young people on how to use these things according to the Word of God for
daily living.

Phase:
"Graduation"
This is the culmination of all that has been learned and experienced over the past 2 weeks. Each recruit has
faced and conquered his or her own personal challenges and now has a more eternal view towards their life,
the choices they make and the difference they can make on the world around them. This is their time to
shine as a new person, a trained and equipped soldier for Christ.
