Log Cabin Plan - Cardboard Planning

This is my log cabin cardboard miniature version of my future log cabin that will be built in Alaska. I'm wanting to build a vertical log cabin (stockade style cabin).

The log home will be 12 feet by 12 feet by 16 feet to the top of the roof. The living room is only 5 feet high and the bedroom will be about 3 feet high. So basically, the log cabin will have 3 levels.

Nice layout. Some things to consider. I would ditch the grip tape for real stairs. Grip tape wears out and it will be hard on your feet. Think of the stairs as an investment of both time and money. They will last. Also just remember that the larger your windows the harder is will be to heat the cabin. For efficacy I would go with double pane argon filled windows. Once again an investment. That would be a nice cardboard house for small pocket pets such as rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, ect!

nice idea on the design but dont u think its a bit squished i think the bed room should be on the top floor and not like a buk bed and u should hav some rooms instead of one room that has everyting in it and nice i dea about the top covering half of the caben for heat . and one i dea if u hav a vie put a huge i maen huge windows or windows where the kitchen is
