This is a cold start after the truck sat for 2 days. Runs and drives great for an 18 year old farm truck.

  • nice to hear a chevy guy giving props to a old ford instead of ripping on it

    i have a ext cab 2wd 1990

same motor but with the zf 5 spd

  • I've had all brands and like/hate them in different ways. Chevy's my favorite but I don't judge something just by the brand.

  • you can hardly find a truck like this in east canada, there all rusted out because of the salt they use on the road during winter.

i do have a 87-91 f150 (not shure the year yet) but i have no idea what shape its in because my dad called and told me he got it for me and i havent seen it yet

  • I believe it. Rusty cars are common enough here in Illinois and it only snows 3 or 4 months out of the year here. The salt they use to melt ice on the roads will kill a car body in no time. This truck was a plow/service truck for a local trucking company before I got it. It was stored inside their shop when it wasn't being used. That's why the body is so good. I sold it a few months ago and as far as I know the new owner is very happy with it!

  • great truck. my dad used his since 1990, now it's in my hands as a first vehicle. This is exactly like it except the color

  • These are good old trucks. Take care of it and it will last another 18 years!

  • sounds like it has an exhaust leak

  • dont judge all brands unless you have tried them! ive tested ford and chevy and they drive pretty good!

  • Nice. How many miles?

  • I want to get an 83 F150 in that color, nice truck but was it too expensive with gas?

  • looks like the kind of truck Dave would like to have lol although he already has a 91 F250 diesel like my :)

  • good to hear, ya you go out westin canada, they dont use salt, you still see people driving old cars in mint condition and a classic car is cheap because theres lots of them, because they never rusted away
