The Palm Pre is definitely a better phone, but it's more akin to a Blackberry than it is an iPhone type like this one. The Pre is more for professional use, not meant for just playing around or casual use like this one. This one is probably more suited for everyday use, while a Palm Pre has the features most people would need if they were part of a business that needed hardcore emailing and such,
Get what you want though, I heard both phones are great. The Pre is my choice though. :)

looks great but is a real bad phone! trust me as i bought one year and half ago and am ready to consider an iphone or different touch phone. i bought it so i wouldn't look like all the other iphoners but this phone has many many problems. i bought it in my country before it was released by any of the major cell phone providers so i paid top dollar for it. if i didn't pay top dollar for it, i would have bought a different phone by now. just thought i would share my opinion with you first.
