Theodore O'Connor was an eventing Legend. He was an Arabian, Thoroughbred, Shetland cross that stood 14.1 hands tall. He ran head to head with horses twice his size and left them in the dust. He was put down this morning after an accident at David and Karen O'Connor's farm. RIP Teddy! We all love you!

I had been told that he had a full brother that was extremely green (if not completely unbroken) that was for sale.. for extremely cheap too. Doubt it's still for sale but apparently Teddy has some siblings out there to be found!

  • @etdell1 It is usually to loosen off/give access to/take pressure off the nostril cavity, which can often be inflicted by badly fitted bridles or horses who tend to chew at the bit constanly.

  • @brbuck159 how dose a band on a horses nose help it breath?

  • so what accicdent occured at the farm?

  • reminds me so much of my old quarter horse/arab bango belle T.T very nice video and such a lovely horse

  • he died on my birthday :'(

  • @tobythejumpingpony : Horse. :)

  • sure can see that shetland stamina...my 10hh Shetland out raced my Quarterhorse back to the barn one night..she was like a little greyhound.

  • He is such a little super star.

He just shows that size and breeding mean nothing!

He is an inspiration to all of us who want to make it to the top!

    RIP Teddy!

The best things come in small packages!:)
