Patient and British Homeopathic Association Trustee Lauren Vaknine talks about how homeopathy has helped her live a normal life. She believes that without homeopathy she would have ended up in a wheelchair due to her Rheumatoid Arthritis which she was diagnosed with at the age of 2.

The British Homeopathic Association which is the sister organisation of the Faculty of Homeopathy exists to promote homeopathy practised by doctors and other healthcare professionals.

We strongly believe that homeopathy should be fully integrated into the healthcare system and available as a treatment choice for everyone.

As a charity founded in 1902, we have a long-established reputation for providing authoritative information and supporting research and training in homeopathy.

  • Anyone who is interested in Lauren's story should seriously consider reading her very moving and inspirational autobiography "My Enemy, My Friend". It doesn't pull any punches and covers the lows in her life just as much as the highs. It is available in print from Amazon and many other bookstores. It is also available as an ebook for Kindle, ePub and iBooks from dozens of ebook retailers around the world.

  • A nice story, but its based on your 'belief'. There is no way of knowing how the disease would have progressed in your case had you not taken homeopathic treatment.

This is why its essential that clinical trials are run with adequate controls such as blinding, to provide an objective answer on whether treatments really work.

Good quality studies suggests its a merely a placebo.

  • Well done.

  • Great job!! :)
