@rishabharies according to Acer tech support website 2GB of RAM is the highest the laptop can handle. I'm telling you bro.... if you can get Win7 or even XP... that laptop will work like a dream..... ok.... maybe not that good but yea..... I was about to trash mine until a buddy loaded Win7 for me.

@apunkfromatl Thanx alot. i have been planning on getting rid of vista as well but as of right now, i cant format this laptop and thats why i wanted to upgrade the hardware for now and the os a little later. i am just very disappointed by the performance of vista...
