When I rip the DVD and play the VOB files, everything is fine, but when I make it an avi, the sound gets totally screwed up and sounds like something from an alien movie. Do I need to set something differently for some DVD's? It only screws up some for me.

Great tutorial!!! I followed the instructions, but in the end I was left with 2 files: one with 700MB which had the whole movie minus the last 15 seconds and a second file of a few MB with the last 15 seconds. Anybody any idea why it's doing that?
