Newsflash, Heart attacks increase in Scotland.

When it looked as though heart attack rates were dropping in Scotland, the government were quick to claim that this was caused by the smoking ban, but now that we discover that heart attacks are actually increasing, the government and the biased media prefer to sweep this inconvenient truth under the carpet.

If food sales exceed 30% of your business income then "No smoking". If not (ie: a traditional pub/bar) then choose for yourself.

At first, they were just repeating other peoples lies, and that would have served as a get out clause for them to overturn the ban now that it's failed.

But the government changed from gullible believers to guilty participants when they destroyed the HSE report (OC255/15) that revealed the lies for what they were.

The BBC are wrong again. Scotland has been hoping to do it before England and probably still will since the proposed English ban will not come into effect till 2011 for super-markets, and 2013 for small shops.

It is not just smoking issues that are made up, the NHS are presently running a campaign on alcohol (Know your limits)advising men to drink no more than 21 units of alcohol per week, this has no medical or scientific basis, but is just made up, doubt me google "How safe drinking experts let a bottle or two go to their heads"

There are doctors and nurses all over the country advising their patients on this nonsense, says a lot abought our medical profession.
