awesome, me and my wife just started the p90x
One question-I haven't been through all discs yet because just started but on disc 1 & 3 they have ab ripper plus. Are you suppose to do these extra work outs on day 1 and day 3

Great job! I have been trying to get back into a healthy shape...all I could see is what I look like now and it's awful. I couldn't remember what I used to look like or the strength and energy I had..........until I found your video. This is really inspiring and I appreciate you documenting your journey. This gives me something to see and feel as I take on the challenge of regaining what was lost. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow! Completely amazing! I truly enjoyed watching your transformation. I'm only 24 but I have two little girls who are 4 and 6 now. I was a cheerleader in high school and never had weight issues until I became pregnant. I have tried many different programs and diets for years and have failed. You are truly an inspiration! I'm starting the P90X within the next week or so and I'm soo excited now! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!

I started with weights and used only the bands instead of the pullup bar for the first month or two. You can use whatever feels right to you. Don't overdo it though. But as you build more muscle, your metabolism will bump up and in turn burn fat...so go get it and do your best and forget the rest

I can't believe the strength exercises I can hardly do a push up let alone what you've just done. How do you start something like this, is it modified??

I started day 1 just like a true rookie. I never used the pull up bar for the first 2 months, just bands in place of the bar. As I gained strength and lost pounds, I found myself more and more on my toes and on the bar. Yes, some of the pull up are chair assisted, but I never use the bands anymore. I am still doing p90x with insanity on Tuesdays. It' s been my buddy since nov. of 2009. Listen to Tony, take baby steps and hang with it, eat right and you will be amazed at not me,but U

wow. you are seriously an inspiration. i get frustrated when i work out because the results never seem to stick. a friend of mine gave me p90x as a gift because she knew how upset my weight was making me. i have decided to commit to do it after the holidays, not because of the foods the holidays bring but because with family visiting it is harder to get the motivated start. I was wondering, did you do the second time directly after the first one or did you take some time off in between?
