Belly dance performance near Dubai, United Arab Emirates

While on a business trip in Dubai, I took some time to myself and went on a tourist outing they call a "desert safari." This consists of dune bashing, which is where you ride roughshod over sand dunes in a large, heavy-duty 4 wheel drive vehicle, followed by a party at a Bedouin-style encampment featuring dinner, shisha, drinks, camel rides, and a spectacular performance by whirling dervishes, a fire spinner, and the beautiful belly dancer seen in this video. It was a great time and quite a good deal of entertainment for the price (220 dirhams, or around USD $60), I thought. Lots of tour operators do this type of outing; our company was called Mirage Tours.
