The last in a trilogy of experimental films trying to break the boundaries of genre by simply altering post-production techniques. The experiment took one basic film idea and one set of rushes to then edit and re-edit three individual versions of "Eidos" by only post-production methods to see if genre can be truly changed just by the method of post-production.
Here the post-production makes use of black and white colouring, taking inspiration from the old 1940's and 50's style Film-Noirs such and especially "double indemnity". The soundtrack was taken from Sin City due to its great jazz-brass sounds just alike to older style Noir's, with the editing taking a slightly different approach and putting the final scene at the beginning of the film to put it truly into the Film-Noir genre.
AEther Productions is the small independent company created by myself, Kelvin Packham also being the writer, director, producer and editor of all three films.
