  • This was a great video. I love how there are people in this world who respect the memory of our Warbirds and have the financial resources to restore and maintain them. I only wish our government had the foresight to do the same. For the US military it would be "chump change".

  • You are so right! While producing the Shipyard film, we ran into a group of veterans who want to restore a Minesweeper. They approached the government and were told no. Instead, the ships, that were in perfect working order, were crushed, and taken apart. MInesweepers are smaller ships that are usually forgotten. However, every major Naval invasion was preceded by the minesweepers. They were always there first.....

  • Great planes! Could have done with out the music though. The sounds of those radials is music enough!

  • Okay.... I heard you. There is more footage of the flight and I will post it with just the sound of the engines. I did have some electrical interference on the audio from the engines so it won't be as pristine as you would like. Keep an eye out here and I will post as soon as possible.

  • Glad she made it over ok. I will miss the old gal :D Keep her in good shape across the pond, and good luck to the team :D

  • Grumpy will be treated like the Queen that she is. Never fear, John is here!

  • My father was a B- 25 pilot in WW2. He flew over 100 missions against the Japanese. The Veterans from that war are the greatest generation of men this country has ever produced.
