"Red Tails" meet Red-Ass! (setting the "white women" record straight)

*DISHONEST* "Agenda Frauds" within the AfricAmerican Community will always demand that their own distorted views of history be elevated to the status of sainthood and that *TRUTH* be suppressed, regardless of how easily it is debunked. This is *ESPECIALLY* true of Black "WOMEN," who always feel a need to diminish ANY "positivity" shining on the often-dejected black man, demanding their place in the spotlight... EVEN when they and/or their contribution is *NOT* part of the focus of attention!

I'm not sure who you were arguing with but I don't think people are arguing that IR's between black soldiers & white women didn't happen. They just want to know why it was necessary to portray it in a movie like this especially since black women were curiously left out of the cast.

Me personally, I don't have an opinion either way other than to say this is just another way the media drive a wedge between BM & BW. Now, they cannot celebrate this movie together.

Actually, they *ARE*, Elle... which is the *ONLY* reason why I've been ripping into this thing so relentlessly! They're calling it "fake history" that "never happened," although the majority (mostly BW) are attempting to discredit the IR inclusion in the movie bec they're upset BW are not "sharing" in the "spotlight."

@UHeardMe1stTime I don't get it. Why should an Italian love interest keep black women from celebrating & enjoying this movie? If most black women really *aren't* bitter about black men in IR relationships and black guys simply make that accusation to be obnoxious & assy--and YES some of them do-- then the race/color of the love interest role (which isn't even that substancial) shouldn't stop us from enjoying the movie.

You make an excellent point which I'd failed to even consider -- the fact that so many of the same black women who are complaining the most vociferously about the IR love-interest in this movie are among the very ones also frothing at the mouth & screeching the loudest: "Go On And Jump That Damn Fence MØTH3Я#U¢KE®!!! We Don't Effing CARE!!!"

What do you think that suggests? Your thoughts?
