No one should be fired for their personal views on same sex marriage. Being fired for that is not tolerance in its true sense of the word. Tolerance is not acceptance of belief contrary to your own. It is simply agreeing to disagree without hate. I don't sense that this man is hateful, but as for several of the comments on this forum.... Well it goes without saying.
(gay-rights and other liberal values.) <--- those are not liberal values! those are common sense human values... not being a fascist bigot has nothing to do with liberal. I am no liberal & I am not a bigot. And looks like religious fascist have a heard time taking what they dish out. Religion isn't sacred and needs to be criticized. and Dr. Frank Turek did way more than just criticize same-sex marriage in that hate mongering book. He should have been fired. Considering what he was hired to do.
This is just an opportunistic effort to promote his books and whine a bit. Traditional "free market" values Frank. Cry me a river. Your ilk push that meme big time. Most corporations often hire contract help; you weren't an employee, you were contracted like hiring a plumber for a day. Shame on you, ..10s of thousands and probably more LGBT actual employees have been and some still GET FIRED merely because they are LGBT. Try to quit practicing your destructive homo-loathing lifestyle choice.
@AtheistTower Error #1 the sample was not national in scope. Error #2The response rate was unacceptably low. Error #3Conclusions were based on data from subsamples that were too small to permit reliable analyses. Error #4The validity of the questionnaire items is doubtful. Error #5The interviewers may have been biased and may not have followed uniform procedures. Error #6The Cameron group's biases were publicized to potential respondents while data were being collected.

@AtheistTower A critical review of the Cameron group's sampling techniques, survey methodology, and interpretation of results reveals at least six serious errors in their study. The presence of even one of these flaws would be sufficient to cast serious doubts on the legitimacy of any study's results. In combination, they make the data virtually meaningless.
