  • Thanks so much for posting this video! I must have listened to "Leap of Faith" 100+ times when I was contemplating a divorce in 1992-1994. This song in particular helped both me and my children through the process. This live performance is amazingly true to the recording and full of emotion! Thanks again!

  • @scammett

You're welcome. Glad someone can appreciate it as much as I did since the songs on this album came out back in '91, the same day of this performance.

  • These lyrics are full of integrity because they come from Kenny himself and something he went through. I have no doubt Kenny didn't feel deeply about this. Just because you dont agree with him does not mean he doesn't have integrity. Oh how easy it is to say "Oh you should stay together." How much more guts it takes to look at something society claims to have the answers to and follow your heart..This song and album is nothing but integrity.

  • @iao95032 I agree with you completely. This song might as well say "I did it for me, and me, because I gave up and stopped trying when things got hard." Still, I love Kenny Loggins, and I still like this song even if I do question the integrity of the lyrics.

  • @iao95032 I feel so sorry for someone like you .

  • These lyrics are a lie.....sorry but this is such the "COP-OUT"! I believe anything is possible including working on one's Marriage when it needs to be worked on. Instead of taking the easy way out.........

  • I got familiar with this album back in 1992 or so....my husband and I listened to it together and we both loved it. Well, shortly thereafter, my husband left me and our two young boys. (ages 3 and 1) He said that this song is what helped him realize that he had to leave. This song brought me pain for many years......sometimes it still does. It is a beautifully sad song, but life does go on.......

  • Awesome album for relaxing and just chilling. Really a masterpiece.

  • I first bought this album when I was married and pregnant with my second child, in what I thought was a solid marriage. Now I listen to it again, so many years later, four years since divorce, and I know the pain whereof he sings.

  • @sputtersong Agreed, even more when he and Michael collab. (What a Fool believes and This is it)

  • Just love Kenny's voice! A hell of a writer too!

  • In Memory of James Michael Clarke, July 13, 1059- March 19, 2010 ~ A father who loved his three sons more than anything else in the world.... Happy Birthday Jim!!
