@sarkasmi83 he has won the JGTC championship !!! -_- ... the equivalent of winning a DTM series in japan... it goes to say a lot. very competetive!!

Ken Block is an alright driver. As a show driver he is great, keeps his audience entertained for sure. As an extremely skilled driver I'd go with Keiichi. Myself, I race every season and can respect the quality of driving that Keiichi posessses. Whether it be grip or drift, he always manages to come out on top. A perfect example of this was when the movie Tokyo Drift was being filmed. Keiichi drifted too cleanly for the film and had to drift like a new driver to entertain the audience.

@7m28 Yeah but I wasn't really trying to say Ken could BEAT him. I simply admitted Keiichi would still win and foolishly included the word "Probably"

@sarkasmi83 no, just b/c u invented it doesnt not make you the best ever but it makes you the most experienced. The guy invented this, hes has decades to perfect his craft. How can Ken Block ever match him, especially if hes trying to go WRC and not drift? i just felt it was foolish to say Ken could even hang w/ Keiichi when Ken doesnt even drift as a pro. He's a rally driver, and while rally does involve drifting, to say Ken can beat someone who invented the sport of drifting is reaching.

@7m28 Oh and might I remind you that if I invented the cartwheel, it doesn't mean no one else could do it better.

But yes, I respect Keiichi, Block and you. If you reguire me to do more than that or just plain wanna hate on Ken and praise Keiichi, fine - just... I don't care for that sorta thing.

@7m28 "He's nowhere near any pro drifter" ... well.. "NOWHERE near" is a bold statement. But hell, it's not even his forte.

But no, I'm not trying to say "KEN BLOCK IS DA BEST EVARR!" as I never do anything fanatic like that.

I just tend to defend people whose skills I respect. Ken is an amazing driver (as I always compare people to MYSELF not to the "BEST EVER" in their category) aswell as hundreds of others. I should probably learn about Keiichi more as alot of people praise him so much.
