@bckm54 Learn his message before you speak please.. LESS GOVERNMENT means, NO ROMAN EMPIRE bring all the overseas troops. Less defense spending. No Homeland Security. No FBI, NO DEA, NO IRS, NO CIA. These are the things we need to cut out budget on. We have become a police government. Do you see this, local, state, federal (4 of those) plus the few military that are here. You do see this or are you blind? We don't need FBI, DEA and ATK to find the same "War on Drugs" (addicts).

@ajobimlover actually, thats NOT my assumption. when ppl dont know each other, sometimes its difficult to read b etween the line, and in those cases, it is often good to, at first, interpret literally, and then seek clarification. i'm as guilty as the next person in not practicing what i preach, but i TRY to see both sides...

and you are making the assumption that more government is needed. he's not referring to cops, courts, and local government. Those are some of the few parts of government he does support. He is referring mostly to the federal government, the welfare state, money spent overseas...we have 15 huge executive departments already, and the answer is more government? the fact that larger government hinders prosperity is basic economics!
