  • Why is it that in so many Dead videos, they focus on Garcia until he starts his solo, when they either cut to someone else or fuck up the graphics to make it trippy?

  • @swythe -- this reminds me of the giant video monitors at the big stadium shows. some were a little uncomfortable, corny and fun as hell

i.e.; during "Sunshine Daydream" they would have a huge close up of a 16 year old chick completely panic-stricken. a lot of those screens were cheezy except for the fractals, jerry bears etc......

  • @swythe -- gotta please the "Touch heads" too. I know watchya mean, let the playin' play out,no need to remind us of the possible magnitudee....or the like

  • is this entire show availalbe on video? or dvd?

  • @lukeman62 - absolutely, thats where I cut it from...View from the Vault(i forget which #) it includes both July 24 Oakland as well as July 26 in Anaheim. both solid shows. Also, "Crimson white & indigo" is another great DVD. I saw them both on Ebay real cheap. cheers

  • people...360p actually sounds a lot richer and fuller than 480p...maybe just my channel...try it...peace friends!!

  • Same Here.. I was there

  • @swythe Why do u Care? Jerry is the Man!!

  • great show..over at 1 am..three sets..two grateful dead and one with Dylan where Jerry played the pedal steel

  • Thank God Billy only did that Just For Men hair dye for a year. Just got the Crimson White CD which was a show I was at, last JFK concert ever. I remember being so blown away by the Scarlet Fire at that show. My first show was 88, these late 80s into the 90s shows just (IMO) don't have the feel of the 70s shows that were in smaller venues. I'm pretty selective about the Dead that I listen to now and I find myself looking for mostly 72-74/77

  • nice

  • everybody dance!!!!!!!!!

  • Trip 3:40

  • Jerry was 45 years old here and he looked 65-70....the rest of the guys look about their age.

  • Mydland almost looks like a skinny Galifinakis haha.

  • My fav Dead..I miss the shows, some of the best timesI ever had...
