  • SOME REAL TIPS

-Use a pH balanced cleanser (between 5.0 and 7.0)

-Only manually exfoliate if your acne consists of closed comedones, blackheads and non-inflamed bumps.

-Use non-comedogenic products (google for a list of ingredients ranked 0-5)

-treat with either an oxygen releasing compound (like benzoyl peroxide) or a cellular exfoliant (salicylic, glycolic, lactic, and acetic acids are excellent).

Don't over treat - if your skin is getting irritated, back off - less is more.

  • what do u mean go up and down when cleanse and moisturiser

  • @BellaaMarlene Are you.. no wait. Not even going to argue with you.

    Just kill your self. Now.

  • acne is hormone imbalance & dirty blood etc etc. notice how acne in thrid world countries is rare, unlike here in the West where deep fried junk & pollution is everywhere etc etc etc...as well as bogus diseases that dont exist in the poor places

dont exacerbate the problem by applying those TOXIC "acne treatments"

  • u are so weird,my mum tell me to do that!!! and does heip!!

  • This video is kind of false.

First of she said that you should wash your face a lot if your having acne problems. If you wash your face to much or over medicate, it can make zits resistant! Also it can lead to more acne! Your skin NEEDS some oil to stay hydrated and healthy. Extra scrubbing can lead to irritation. So i suggest not to use a washcloth. Just use your hands OR with a Clarisonic brush.

Well I hope my paragraph helps!!!

  • What a load of rubbish, did she get this of a Proactive commercial or something.

  • Using a washcloth on pustular acne will break the lesions open, spreading the bacteria.

Washing your face 'more often' when more than twice a day will only serve to irritate your skin - making it far more prone to breaking out.

Distilled water is alkaline - your acid mantle is (as the name implies) acid. This will not 'tone' your face.

  • YOU COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG!!!! When you wash your face with a washcloth, all you do is create irritation. And the whole theory about the "shingles" is false. Also, toner is not necessary. The moisturizer doesn't "seal" anything in. And wash your face more often if you have acne? Where in the world did you find that? The most anyone should wash their face is twice a day! Sorry to be so rude about this, but we need to stop acne, and all you are doing is contributing to the problem! FALSE INFO!!!!
