I blew the speaker out in three of these before mom and dad made me buy my own. lol. No headphones in those days, so I heard plenty of "turn that thing down".

Excellent Sound! Thank you- great job!! Love Mitch Ryder and this is my fav song of his!

Thumbs up if you remember, or had to use, one of those little plastic adapters that you put into the hole of a 45 to play on the "pin" on a 33 tunrtable.
Or better, yet, waiting to get your paper-route/allowance money so you could run down to the record store to get your music! None of this instant-gratification.

Love the overdriven tube sound. That's the stuff blues harp players pay big bucks for.

I can remember my uncle blasting this song out of this song in his room when we went to visit my grandparents when I was a kid; besides being a great song, it brings back great memories for me.

was 8 years when this song came out and i had older cousins that were doing the dances of the day, so i got them to teach me the dances and they did. just a great song to dance too.

I love this. brings back memories of listening records on our old turntable. : ) thanks for sharing Jilly gotta love Detroit for it's music. It wasn't all Motown music but, great music all the way around back then.

Saw Mitch's show @ State fair still sounds like this record! Go & see him before he's gone...like too many of the REAL ROCK & ROLLERS!
Ahh, the ONLY way to listen to sixties dance music. On a Hi-Fi tube set. Loud and out of control. Frug, baby FRUG!!!!!!!
