This was the version used from its premiere on SuperStation WTBS on June 3, 1983 until May 1985 when a new version was introduced. Bob Coburn and Joanne Erhart were the voiceover announcers.

Night Tracks was sooooooooooo much better than MTV, i remember watching it every weekend.

This just takes me back to when music videos were new and fun and exciting. I remember on Fri. & Sat. nights after 11:00 pm, there were 6 different stations playing videos all night. I'd stay up flipping from one channel to the next to see what video they were showing. You could see alot of different videos that MTV didn't play. Some pretty good ones too.

There was nothing like turning your tv on at 1 or 2 and 3 am in the morning to see your favorite video playing. Late late late night tv was hot back in the 80s.. God I wish it was like that today..
