The first time I hears this song I was watching a documentary called Long Gone . About all kinds of different people who ride the freight trains across the US . Put the two together and it was really something else . I recommend everone watch this documentary and see for your self .

I was new to the Swedish train system, which is an unfortunate way to be at 2:30 AM in Vaxjo. Fortunately, I was not new to the lack of Swedish public drunkenness laws. Anyway, I was at the train station in Vaxjo at about 2:30 in the morning, waiting on the next shuttle from the centrum. I had an apple, a copy of Dharma Bums, and half a bottle of terrible Swedish whiskey, and I thought of this song. No one around, so I started to sing. And as I sang, a snow began to fall. Beautiful night.

Is there a better singer in the world to drink to? Not alcopop let's all go out and get plastered drinking but Mad Men style sophisticated drinking! Cheers!!!
